1. Performance Estimates

All power, torque, fuel economy and performance figures are estimates. Actual results depend on the vehicle’s condition, mileage, maintenance history, existing modifications and other factors. No particular result is guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Vehicle Condition & Mechanical Risks

Customers must inform Performance Tune Pro Ltd of known faults, previous modifications and relevant mechanical issues before work begins. ECU and TCU calibration may place additional demands on existing vehicle components. We are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing defects, inadequate maintenance, unrelated modifications or subsequent misuse. This does not limit our responsibility where loss or damage results from our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

A software warranty is not a guarantee of the vehicle’s mechanical condition or long-term component durability.

3. Insurance & Roadworthiness

Customers are responsible for informing their motor insurer of relevant vehicle modifications and checking whether those modifications affect their insurance cover. Vehicles used on public roads must remain roadworthy and comply with applicable UK laws, MOT requirements and emissions regulations.

4. Emissions Systems & Specialist Calibrations

DPF, EGR, AdBlue/SCR and other emissions-control systems must meet the legal requirements applicable to the vehicle and its intended use. Performance Tune Pro Ltd does not authorise unlawful emissions-control modifications on road-going vehicles. Any calibration requested for genuine testing, competition, off-road or export applications must be lawful in the place and circumstances in which it is supplied and used. An off-road or export designation does not, by itself, make a modification lawful.

Customers must provide accurate information about the intended use of their vehicle. We reserve the right to decline work that may breach applicable requirements.

5. Custom Calibration Software

Custom ECU and TCU calibrations are supplied for the agreed vehicle and intended application. Customers must not use them outside that agreed application or in breach of applicable laws. We do not guarantee specific power or torque figures for calibration files that have not been independently verified on a dynamometer.

6. Flame Maps, Pop & Bangs and Popcorn Limiters

These features can increase stress on the engine, turbocharger, catalytic converter, exhaust and related components, potentially causing serious damage. We do not provide a separate guarantee against damage arising from the use or misuse of these features. This does not affect any statutory rights or our responsibility for work not performed with reasonable care and skill.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, custom calibration files developed by Performance Tune Pro Ltd remain our intellectual property. The customer is granted permission to use the supplied calibration only for the agreed vehicle and purpose. Unauthorised copying, sharing, redistribution or resale is prohibited.

8. Tuning Tools & Equipment

Company-owned tuning tools and equipment are not included in any calibration or tuning service and will not be sold, transferred or released to customers. Customers wishing to own professional tuning tools should purchase them directly from the manufacturer or an authorised seller.

9. Pricing & VAT

We may update our published prices from time to time. Where we have agreed a specific ongoing customer rate, that rate will not be increased for the same agreed services under the existing arrangement. VAT or other legally applicable taxes may be charged where required. New or additional services will be quoted separately, and any change to an agreed price will be communicated before the relevant work proceeds.

10. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
